Episode 3: Godzilla (part 1)

We tried some new things with this episode. And it left us with six hours of audio. Yeah, I know. I've cut it down to about half that, but let us know if you prefer future episodes to be shorter and looser, or longer and more in depth. Just as long as we don't have to record for six hours again.

Just listened to pt.1 last night and OMG I WANT TO SEE MELLOW GODZILLA. WITH HANDPUPPETS. AND YOU GUYS DOING THE VOICES. PUT IT ON YOUTUBE IF YOU HAVE TO.

Seriously, I could not stop laughing throughout the whole thing. (Which was kind of bad because I was listening very late at night and nearly woke up my whole family.) Can't wait for pts. 2 & 3!

I don't know if it was your intention, but you've really made me want to watch the original Gojira now. I've never seen a godzilla film in my life, I must admit, and I had no idea there was so much interesting historical context to go along with the rubber suits.

Looking forward to the next parts!

princessstarr,

I was seriously debating whether or not to cut the Mellow Godzilla since we were still running long, but I'm glad I didn't. Don't know about filming a version. I'll think about it.

Chairman Wow,

Glad to hear you're interested in checking the original out. It's a little rough around the edges, but people forget it had a lot to say from a very unique and personal perspective. Hope you enjoy it.
